Mary G. Morton (nee Gonzalves), 96 of Granite Farms Estates died on July 9, 2025.  Born in Upland, the daughter of the late Luis' and Carmen Diaz Gonzalves, she lived in Media before moving to Granite Farms Estates in 2013.
Mary was a graduate of Eddystone High School, class of 1946 and also received a bachelor's degree from Temple University.  Before her retirement she enjoyed a career as a teacher at Penncrest High School in the Rose Tree Media School District.  Mary was a member of Lima United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening, trips to the beach, swimming and bicycling.  She also loved her Yorkies and was an avid reader.  She will be remembered as a matriarch who loved spending time with her family.
She was the loving wife of the late John Morton, stepmother of the late Carol Morton O'Bara, sister of the late Louis V. Gonzalves, the aunt of Denise M. Blythe, Diane M. Lundberg, Dorren M. Weare and Louis V. Gonzalves, Jr. (Debroah), she is also survived by great and great-great nieces and nephews and one great-great-great-nephew.
Service and burial were held privately.
