Mary F. McKinny McNichol, 92 of Ridley Park died August 3, 2011 at the Broomall Nursing Home.
Born in Philadelphia, she lived in the city until moving to Ridley Park in 1967.
A woman who was devoted to her faith, she was a member of the Church of St. Madeline. Mrs. McNichol was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls, Class of 1937. Most important to her was her devotion to her family.
She was wife of the late Francis X. McNichol, her husband of 63 years at the time of his death on May 18, 2009, daughter of the late Clarence V. and Helen Orr McKinny, and sister of the late Catherine McKinny, S.B.S., George McKinny and John McKinny.
She is survived by her children; Catherine McBride (Francis), Patricia McNichol, Maureen Duttera (James), Francis X. McNichol, Jr (Teresa), Theresa Barker (Lawrence) and Eileen VanderVliet (Thomas), also 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass 10:00AM Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call afer 9:00AM. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery.
