Mary C. Murphy Kinee 86 of Ridley Park died on January 21, 2014 at her home.

Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Mary has lived at her late residence for 55 years.

Mary was a proud honors graduate of John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School, class of 1945 and was a member of their orchestra.

She worked for 41 years as a legal secretary for two major Philadelphia Law firms.

Mary loved music, playing her piano, reading and spending time with her family and summer vacations in North Wildwood. Mary was a strong, intelligent guiding force for her family and was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late David J. Kinee, her husband of 44 years, who died in 1992. She was also predeceased by her parents Thomas J. and Helen E. McCaffrey Murphy, her brother John T. Murphy and his wife Mary Ann, also her sister in law and brother in law Jean and Lawrence Andreano.

Survivors; her children Eileen C., Susan M., David J. (Theresa), Michael J. and Thomas J. Kinee (Anne); her sisters Ellen Schreiber (Late Paul) and Catherine Pooler (Joseph); sisters in law Sister Mary Agnes Kinee, IHM and Kathleen Harkins (Late William); her grandchildren David, Andrew, Tara, Michael, Daniel and Meghan; also her great grandchildren Patrick, Anna, Heather, Michael, Hayley, Sophia and Elena.

Funeral Mass 10:00AM Monday, January 27, 2014 at the Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park.

Visitation 5PM to 7PM Sunday and 8:15 to 9:15AM Monday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park. Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum..
