Mildred K. Luper Janik, 92 of Chester died April 28, 2011 at Taylor Hospice Residence. Born in Sharpsburg, NC she has lived in Chester since 1952.
Mrs. Janik was an operator for Scott Paper Company, retiring in 1984. She loved gardening and flowers, but most important was being with her family.
She was daughter of the late Leroy and Thelma Batts Luper and wife of the late Howard T. Krauss who died in 1988.
Survivors: mother of Howard "Ken" Krauss (Sandra J.) of Folsom and Leland L. Krauss (Sharon A.) of Hammersley Fork, PA. sister of Margaret Robinson of Rocky Mount, NC and Agnes Forrest of Portsmouth, VA. Grandmother of Steven K. Krauss, Stephanie Wolsky and Caroline C. Krauss-Browne. Also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service: 10 AM Tuesday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Avenue, Ridley Park.
Visitation: after 9 AM at the funeral home
Burial: Edgewood Memorial Park
