Mary Ellen Ewart, 83, of Folsom, died December 10, 2013 at Crozer Keystone Hospice at Taylor, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ridley Park, she was the daughter of the Late John and Bertha Torris.

Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, crafts and her trips to Stone Harbor.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Charles E. Ewart, Jr., who died December 25, 2010; her brother, Jack Torris and sisters, Kay Touhey and Ruth Hoffer.

Survivors: mother of Patricia White (Robert), David C. Ewart, who lived with and provided Mary's care, John J. Ewart and Kathleen DiCampli; sister of Joanne Hamilton; grandmother of Kristy, Robin, Kim, Jackie and Lauren; also four great grandchildren.

Visitation: 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM Friday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park
