Mary W. Dwyer

Mary W. Dwyer, 93 of Wallingford died on February 1, 2026 at her home at Plush Mills. Born in Manhattan, NY, the daughter of the late Peter and Bea Corrigan Devaney, she lived in Ridley Park before moving to Wallingford.

Mary was a graduate of Notre Dame High School for Girls, class of 1950 and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Widener University in 1980. She was a member of St. John Chrysostom R.C. Church and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi for Academic Excellence. Mary loved playing tennis and enjoyed reading, completing puzzles, writing poetry, music and going to the theatre. Most importantly was her devotion and love to her special Son, Michael.

She was the wife of the late M. Joseph Dwyer, Jr., the loving and cherished mother of the late Christopher Michael Dwyer, sister of the late Katherine Devaney Kiggins and was also predeceased by her aunt and uncle Michael and Anna Duignan who shared in lovingly raising Mary.

Funeral Mass 11 AM Saturday, February 7, 2026 at St. John Chrysostom R.C. Church, 617 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA where relatives and friends may call 9:45 to 10:45 AM Saturday morning Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
