Mary A. Connally, 76 of Chester, died suddenly at her home on April 30, 2013.
Born in Ridley Park, Mary was a lifelong resident of Chester.
She was a secretary at Sun Ship Building and Drydock Company and previously worked at Aldan Rug Mill and Baldwin, Lima, Hamilton Locomotive Company.
Mary attended Notre Dame High School and was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1954 and Keystone Business College. She collected and sold antiques; loved animals, especially dogs and was a protector of abused animals and only adopted pets from a shelter. She was member of The Thrift Shoppe of Delaware County Memorial Hospital.
Mary was predeceased by her longtime partner Franklin W. Henderson, who died in 1986; daughter of the late Thomas and Winifred Campbell Connally and sister of the late Anne Connally Haines and her husband David, Winifred M. Connally and Thomas P. Connally.
Survivors; her brother John W. Connally (Beth); her niece Kathleen Connally; nephew Thomas P. Connally, Jr.; great nephew Isaac Danuloff and many friends and caring neighbors.
Funeral Service 10:00AM Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park.
Visitation 6:30 to 8:30PM Tuesday and after 9:00AM Wednesday. Burial private.
