Mary P. Clutterbuck 96 of Ridley Park, died on March 15, 2022 at her home.
Born in Chester, Mary has lived at her late residence for 75 years.
She was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1943 and Ursinus College, class of 1947 where she earned a BA Degree in English.
Mary was last employed as a Research Secretary for the Institute for Cancer Research, now Fox Chase Hospital before retiring in 1963. Previously she was a 10 th grade English teacher at Norristown High School.
She was a member of the Church of St. Madeline. Mary taught ballroom dancing for Arthur Murray Studios and enjoyed reading, ballroom dancing, painting and cats, but most important to her was family.
Mary was the loving wife of the late James F. Clutterbuck, her husband of 55 years, who died in 2015; daughter of the late Nicholas and Pearl Luczycyn Bednor; also, cousin of the late Stephanie Newcomb.
She was the cherished mother of Frank Stanley Clutterbuck and his fiancé Michele J. Skalish.
Liturgy service 10:00AM Monday, March 21, 2022 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave. Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 9:00AM. Burial Edgewood Memorial Park.
