Mary E. Laughead Bonner, 89 of Ridley Park, died peacefully surrounded by her family on August 11, 2011 at Taylor Hospital.
Born in Upland, she has been a resident of Ridley Park since 1952.
Mrs. Bonner worked in the Care's Program at St. Madeline School for five years until 2005 and prior to that was employed at St. David's Inn.
She was a member of the Church of St. Madeline, also a former Girl Scout Leader and a lifelong member of the Nassau Swim Club.
Mrs. Bonner was wife of the late Aloysius T. "Bushy" Bonner, her husband of 50 years, who died in 1992 and the daughter of the late John Henry and Mary Parker Laughead and also predeceased by nine siblings.
Survivors; her children Kevin T. Bonner (Patty), Aloysius Thomas Bonner, Jr., Katherine M. Bedwell and Eileen M. Klekotka (Peter), also nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was mother in law of Pam Bonner.
Funeral Mass: 11:00AM Friday at the Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call from 9:15 to 10:45AM.
Burial Holy Cross Cemetery.
