Mary E. "Betty" Watters Dick, 78, of Folsom, died on July 14, 2015 at Lifecare Hospital. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Ridley Township, she lived in Towanda and Reading before moving to her late residence 12 ½ years ago.




Mary graduated from Ridley High School, class of 1955 and the Chester Hospital School. She was employed by St. Lawrence Medical Center as an X-ray Technician before retiring on May 3, 2002. Mary previously worked for Montrose Hospital and Lankenau Hospital. She made scarves for underprivileged people with Knitters Across America and loved animals.




Mary was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Ronald F. Dick, who died on May 4, 2002; her parents, Stewart and Mae M. Miller Watters; and her brother, William Watters.




Mary was the mother of Ronald J. Dick (Natalie) and Robert S. Dick; sister of Heather Leskie; and aunt of Debbie Leskie




Funeral Service: 1:00 PM Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, where friends may call after 12:00 Noon




Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery
