Obituary
Martha P. McCloskey Kornafel, 90, of Ridley Park died September 5, 2012 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center. Born in Abington, Mrs. Kornafel lived in Chester prior to moving to her late residence 20 years ago.
Martha graduated from the Crozer Hospital School of Nursing and was a member of the Church of St. Madeline. She was formerly employed as a Registered Nurse at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and was devoted to her faith and family.
She was wife of the late Henry T. Kornafel who died on December 19, 2003 after 56 years of marriage, daughter of the late Harry and Martha Kelly McCloskey and grandmother of the late Frank Stout.
Survivors: children Cathy Stout and Michael Kornafel (Liz), also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass: 10 AM Monday at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park.
Visitation: 9 to 9:45 AM Monday at the church.
Burial: Private
