It is with profound sadness that the Konrad family announces the passing of Mark Dominick Konrad, of Wyoming DE and more recently Portland ME, on Friday December 3, 2021 at the age of 42.

Mark graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 1997 and soon after became a skilled carpenter, specializing in Pole Buildings in Hartly, DE. He took his skills to Pownal ME, starting his own successful business. A member of the Carpenters Union, much of his craftsmanship can be seen throughout Maine and Delaware. More recently, Mark transitioned to a career in sales, working in South Carolina, Delaware and Maine. Mark was a connoisseur of 80's music and had an extensive knowledge of film. You'd be hard pressed to name a movie he hadn't seen. He was well educated on health and fitness and spent much of his time working on his physical and mental health. In his younger years, Mark was an avid golfer, earning All Henlopen Conference Team honors in 1995. He was one of a kind. A warm and loving person, Mark will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Mark was the loving son of Joseph D., Sr. and Mary Ellen Augsberger Konrad, brother of Joseph D. Konrad, Jr. (Maggie), Anthony E. Konrad (Laura) and Michelle E. Aradillas (Enrique), nephew of Michael (Gail), Robert and Jeffrey (Mimi) Konrad, Jayne Newcomb (Rich) and Melissa Fanelli (Mike), uncle of beloved nieces Josephine Konrad, Scarlet Konrad and Lexi Willard, adored nephews Mateo Aradillas and Eli Aradillas, cherished cousin to many and dear friend to Valerie Burton.

Mark is predeceased by his grandparents; William S. and Ellen R. Nickel Augsberger and Joseph J. and Mary Jane Pellegrino Konrad, and his uncles Jeffrey M. Augsberger and James D. Konrad.

Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at St. Mary Magdalen R.C. Church, 7 Sharpley Road, Wilmington, DE where relative and friends may call 9:15 to 10:15 AM. Burial Lawn Croft Cemetery.
