Mark J. Colgan, 60 of Eddystone died on October 18, 2024.

Mark was born in Philadelphia and lived in Holmes before moving to Eddystone 26 years ago. Mark was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1982 where he was a member of the Chess Club and was also a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Norristown.  He owned and operator Colgan Cleaning Services for over 40 years.

Mark was well known for his great sense of humor and sarcasm. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially of the Flyers and he always enjoyed trips to Elk View Shore, but most important was his family, especially his grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father James J. Colgan and grandchildren Kayla A. Colgan and John P. Colgan, Jr.

Mark was the loving husband of 39 years to Kimberly A. Mickle Colgan, who he met and will forever be high school sweethearts with. Father of John P. Colgan (Brianna), Tracy A. Colgan (Dayna), Jessica L. Colgan (Tim) and Kaitlyn D. Colgan, son of Virginia Snyder Colgan, brother of James J. Colgan, Jr., David S. Colgan and Eric C. (Phyllis) and also survived by eight grandchildren.

As a grandfather, he was unparalleled, dedicating himself wholeheartedly to his grandkids. His legacy will live on in the hearts of Kevin, Hayley, Johnny, Gavin,  Bradley, Emma, Issac and, Rory who can now find comfort knowing he's watching over them from above.

Burial Rite 1 PM Friday, October 25, 2024 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 11 AM.  Burial private.
