Marjorie J. Downie 80 of Boothwyn died May 7, 2015 at her home.
Born in Eddystone, she has lived in Upper Chichester since 1971. Marjorie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who considered herself the" Matriarch of the Family."
She was wife of the late Raymond Downie, Jr., her husband of 51 years who died in 2000, daughter of the late Dennis F. and Martha E. Taylor O'Brien and sister of the late Beatrice Miller, Dennis F. O'Brien, Jr., Elizabeth Johnson and William O'Brien.
Marjorie is survived her children, Raymond Downie, III (Roseanne), Shyrl Lynn Skinner, Barbara Bobak (Late George) and Kenneth Downie (Rose Ann); her sister Martha Manning; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service 12 Noon Monday, May 11, 2015 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston where friends may call after 11:00AM. Burial Lawn Croft Cemetery.
