Mario R. Liberatore, 94
Mario R. Liberatore, 94 of Ridley Park died February 5, 2011 at Connor Williams Nursing Home. Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Philip and Lucretia DiDonato Liberatore.
Mr. Liberatore has been a resident of Ridley Park for the past 40 years, previously residing in Philadelphia. He was a World War II US Army Veteran. He was a mechanic at Boeing Company for 35 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of the local VFW. He was an avid sportsman, enjoyed bowling and loved animals, but most important of all he loved being with family and attending family gatherings.
Mr. Liberatore was husband of the late Mary Tutolo Liberatore who died July 27, 2005 after 57 years of marriage. He was brother of the late Pat, John, Hugo, Livio and Basilica "Bess" Liberatore.
Survivors: Sisters Stella Liberatore of Ridley Park and Dora Mirante (Anthony) of NE Philadelphia, brother Ettore "Harry" Liberatore (Mary) of Warminster. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral Mass and Visitation: 10 AM Friday at the Church of St. Madeline, Penn Street and Morton Avenue, Ridley Park where friends may call 9 to 9:45 AM.
Burial: Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery
