Marie F. Chattin McAlpin, 79, of Ridley Park died June 7, 2019 at Broomall Manor. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Marie Bush Chattin and moved to her late residence in 1962.

Marie was a graduate of Murrell Dobbins Vocational-Technical School, class of 1958.

She was predeceased by her son, Francis Robert "Frank" McAlpin, who died Feb. 11, 2016; and her brother, Robert Chattin.

Marie is survived by her husband of 56 years, Francis X. "Fran" McAlpin; her daughter, Patty Dougherty (Joe); her seven grandchildren, Erin (Michael), Kristina (Jonathan), Joseph Jr, Alyssa, Robert, Holly & Katie; her five great grandchildren, Kaylee, Nicholas, Kevin, Richie, Clayton; her two nieces, Lesa and Nicky; her one nephew, Bobby; and cousins.

Visiting Hours: 9:30-10:30 AM Friday, June 14, 2019 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Friday at the funeral home.

Burial: Montrose Cemetery
