Marie H. Jones

Marie H. Jones (nee Phillips), 100 of Ridley Park died at her home surrounded by her loving family on May 9, 2026. Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late George and Elsie Good Phillips, she lived in Philadelphia before moving to Ridley Park in 1971.

Marie was a graduate of John Bartram High School, class of 1942 and was a member of The Church of St. Madeline in Ridley Park. She was an avid reader and enjoyed completing crossword puzzles but most important was her family especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was the loving wife of the late William J. Jones, mother of Marie Newcomb and James Packard (Jennifer), grandmother of Ralph Newcomb, Evelyn Newcomb, Tina Morrisroe, Tricia Schopfer, Robert Packard, Kimberley Packard and Caitlin Packard, she is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren and was predeceased by five siblings.

Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Friday, May 15, 2026 at The Church of St. Madeline, 400 Morton Ave, Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 9:30 AM. Burial Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken.
