Marie D. Quinn Borreggine, 90 of Middletown Township, died October 24, 2012 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center.

Born in Chester, she was a longtime resident of Chester before moving to her late residence 6 years ago.

Marie worked at Baldwin, Lima, Hamilton Locomotive in Eddystone during WWII.

She was a member of Our Lady of Charity R.C. Church, attended Notre Dame High School and enjoyed watching TV, and crossword puzzles. Most important to her was her devotion to her family.

Marie was wife of the late Joseph Borreggine, her husband of 59 years, who died in 2010, daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Bunce Quinn and sister of the late Raymond and Joseph Quinn.

Survivors: her children Matthew S. Phayre, III (Jeanne) and Michele Borreggine; her granddaughters Jenifer Phayre and Janine Phayre (Joseph Corcoran); also great grandchildren Julia, Jude, Jack, Blaise, Avarose and Grace.

Funeral Mass 10:00AM Friday, November 2, 2012 at Our Lady of Charity R.C. Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA. Vistiation from 9 to 9:45AM at the Church. Burial Lawn Croft Cemetery.
