Marguerite A. Mahoney, of Downingtown died January 28, 2016 at Brandywine Hospital. Born in Girardville, PA, daughter of the late John J. and Eva Kobon Mahoney, she moved to her late residence five years ago.

Peg was a graduate of Notre Dame High School for Girls and Fitzgerald Hospital School of Nursing. She earned her BS at Our Lady of Angels (now Neumann University.) Peg was last employed as a nurse at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital before retiring in 1989. She was a member of The Church of St. Joseph in Downingtown and St. Katharine Drexel R.C. Church in Chester. Peg was devoted to her faith and was a member of the Bereavement Committee and the Rosary Group Bible Study. She enjoyed gardening, reading and music.

Peg was predeceased by her sister, Mary A. Mahoney Alexander, who died February 3, 2014 and is survived by her devoted cousins.
