Margaret J. Walter (nee Allen), 87 of Tinicum Township, died on August 26, 2024 at her home.  Born in Ridley Township, the daughter of the late Robert E. and Margaret M. King Allen, she lived in Ridley Park before moving to Tinicum 55 years ago.
Margaret was a graduate of Ridley Park High School, class of 1954.  Before retiring in 2013, she worked for the County of Delaware as a supervisor in the Office of Judical Support and had previously worked at General Electric and as a legal secretary for local attorneys.  The most important part of her life was her devoted family.
She was the wife of the late Herbert Walter, mother of Herbert Walter, Jr. (Elizabeth), Margaret J. Walter and the late Colleen E. Johnson, sister of Janet Okonski, Kathleen Tuohey and the late Robert E. Allen, Jr., grandmother of Nicole, Gina, Michael, Jaclyn, Crystal and Shawn and great-grandmother of Aslyn, Leo and Colleen.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
