Margaret T. McDermott Miller, 93 of Granite Farms Estates and Ocean City, NJ, died September 18, 2011 at Riddle Memorial Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, she lived in West Philadelphia until moving to her late residence.

She was an Administrative Assistant at Rosetree Media School District for over 20 years, retiring in 1981.
Mrs. Miller was a member of St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church and the Mother's Club at the church, the Cultural Arts Forum at Neumann University and the Penn Oaks Country Club. She was also an avid bridge player, enjoyed golf, but most important to her was time spent with her children, grandchildren and her granddogs. She was a former member of St. Cornelius R.C. Church.

She was the wife of the late William F. Miller, Jr., who died May 21, 1982 and the late John Scherer, daughter of the late Edward Norbert and Margaret McDermott and sister of the late Edward, Norbert and William McDermott.

Survivors: her children; Barbara McCoy (John F.), William F. Miller, III (Patricia), John E. Miller (Mimi) and Laurence G. Miller (Cindy), twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass 10:30AM Friday at St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church, 35 New Rd., Lenni, PA 19052 where friends may call 9:30 to 10:15AM.

Burial in St. Francis de Sales Church Cemetery.
