Margaret L. McGuigon (nee Lavin), a lifelong resident of Woodlyn died on February 7, 2024.  Born in Ridley Park, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Conroy Lavin.

Margaret was a graduate of Ridley Township High School and before her retirement worked as a switchboard operator at Bell Telephone Company.  She was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church and the Gold Star Mothers.  Margaret loved Irish music and dancing, and trips to the casino, but most important was her loving family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren.

She was the loving wife of the late Paul L. McGuigon, mother of the Robert C. McGuigon (Karen), Janice M. McGuigon , Linda M. Stam (Nicholas) and the late William E. McGuigon, sister of the late Charles "Bud" Lavin, Mary Bryan and Elizabeth "Betty" Reavy, grandmother of Amber McGuigon, Mark McGuigon (Nicole), Christopher Stam (Allie) and Gregory Stam, great-grandmother of Tyler, Charlotte, Evan, Kyle, Gavin, Gwen and Owen.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park, PA where relatives and friends may call from 9:15 to 10:15 AM.  Burial will be at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, in Springfield, PA.
