Margaret M. "Peggy" Jordan White, 88, of Havelock, NC died November 29, 2013 at Two Rivers Trent Campus in New Bern, NC.

Born in Hamilton, TN, daughter of the late Shelah Hatten and Cecile Crowe Jordan, Mrs. White lived in Aston prior to moving to North Carolina in 2001 to reside with her daughter, Diana, and son in law, Charles Malinowski. In declining health, Peggy was moved to a nursing facility in February, 2013.

Peggy was last employed as a Group Leader at Harowe Servo Precision. She attended Oak Grove Methodist Church in North Carolina and had previously been a member of the Upland Baptist Church. An avid reader, Peggy enjoyed painting with watercolors, gardening and crossword puzzles.

Peggy was the wife of the late Charles M. White, who died on August 3, 1992 after 48 years of marriage.

She is survived by her siblings Bill Jordan of Clifton Park, NY and Doris Jordan Munson of Greeneville, NC, her daughter Diana K. White Malinowski of Havelock, NC, grandson Edward C. Malinowski and great-grandson Jack P. Malinowski of Queen Anne, MD.

Funeral Service: 11 AM Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston where friends may call after 10 AM. Burial Mount Hope Cemetery.
