Obituary
Margaret M. Johnson 88, formerly of Woodlyn, died June 30, 2014 at Ware Presbyterian Village in Oxford.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a longtime resident of Woodlyn. Margaret was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels at the School House Senior Center.
She loved animals, enjoyed cooking, entertaining, card games and casino trips, but most important to her was her devotion to her family.
Margaret was wife of the late Harold S. Johnson, her husband of 60 years, who died in 2009; daughter of the late Daniel and Mary D. Subers Stewart and sister of the late Earle W. "Buddy" Stewart.
She was mother of Edmond D. Johnson (Kathleen), Harold G. Johnson (Carolyn), Dorothy M. Carter (Edward) and Marguerite A. Forbes (Arthur); also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass 10:30AM Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park, PA 19033 where friends may call 9:15 to 10:15AM. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery.
