Margaret J. "Peg" Arenz Hooven, 81
Margaret J. "Peg" Arenz Hooven, 81, of Ridley Park, died October 10, 2012 at Paoli Memorial Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Hooven lived in Darby prior to moving to her late residence 56 years ago.
She was a graduate of Darby High School, Class of 1949 and was employed as a Sales Representative at Strawbridge & Clothier in Philadelphia for 25 years, retiring in 1996. Peg was active with the Girl Scouts and Ridley Park Boys Club. She was most passionate about her devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Peg was wife of the late Richard N. "Dick" Hooven who died August 18, 2011 after 58 years of marriage, daughter of the late George and Catherine Taylor Arenz and sister of the late George Arenz, Jr.
Survivors: her children; Kathleen L. Herschell (William), Richard N. Hooven, Jr. (Jeanette) and Michael J. Hooven (Lisa), grandchildren; Lauren, Eric, Kelsey, Kyle, Ryan, Kimberly and Bradley, great-grandchildren; Nathaniel and Andrew.
Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Wednesday, October 17, 0212 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park
Visitation: after 9:30 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial: Edgewood Memorial Park
