Obituary

Margaret A. Haugh Dwyer, 80 an active resident of Plush Mills Senior Assisted Living for five years, died on May 31, 2013 at Taylor Hospice Residence.

Born in New Berlin, IL, she lived in Ridley Park before moving to Plush Mills in 2008.

She was a Workers' Comp Nurse at PMA Insurance and previously worked at Taylor Hospital, St. Joseph's School, Collingdale and John Wanamaker's.

Margaret was a member of the Church of St. Madeline and the Sodality. She was a graduate of New Berlin High School and St. John's Hospital School of Nursing. Margaret was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and Taylor Hospice. She enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, reading, traveling and walking; but most important to her was time spent with her family and friends.

She was wife of the late Francis J. "Bud" Dwyer, her husband of 49 years who died in 2006, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Reed Haugh and sister of the late Joseph Haugh.

Survivors; her children Mark Dwyer (Sally Nixon), Mary D. Dwyer, Douglas Dwyer (Marie) and Patricia Rodgers (Kevin); her sisters Rosemary LeMaster, Doris Robinson and Bernadine "Bunny" Pillar; sister in law Mary Clare Haugh; also her grandchildren Christine Rodgers, Erin Rodgers, Morgan Dwyer and Joseph Caruso.

Funeral Mass 10:00AM Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park.

Visitation 7 to 9PM Wednesday and 8:30 to 9:15AM Thursday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave. Ridley Park. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
