Madge B. Dilloway Manahan Tini, 93, of Upland (Brookhaven) died July 19, 2016 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center. Born in Richmond, Surrey, UK (England), she was the daughter of the late Henry George and Mary Elizabeth Alice Hine Dilloway. Madge came to the US in 1944 and resided in Prospect Park before moving to her late residence 50 years ago.
She was a former member of St. James Episcopal Church where she volunteered with church activities. Madge enjoyed sewing, reading, knitting, doing puzzles and crossword puzzles and most especially gardening, but most important to her was her family and her cats.
Madge was predeceased by her husband, Frank H. Manahan, who died May 29, 1982; her brothers, Maurice, George and Charles Dilloway; and her late grandsons, Kyle Hansen and Steven Scott.
Survivors: wife of William J. Tini, Sr., her husband of 27 years; mother of Mary Scott (Robert), Frances Hansen and William Manahan (Jill); sister of Eileen Jones; also survived by nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
