Madeline M. Lauer Fie, 94, of Springfield Commons, died August 24, 2018 at Crozer Keystone Hospice at Taylor. Born in the Bridesburg area of Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Francis and Nellie Lee Ingersoll Lauer. Madeline resided in Bensalem before moving to her late residence six months ago.
Madeline attended Frankford High School. She was employed as a Tax Examiner for the IRS. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo R.C. Church.
Madeline was the loving wife of 69 years to her devoted husband, Frank, who died March 6, 2018.
She was the devoted mother to Francis T. Fie, Jr., Susan Fie McCrae (Kenneth) and Joseph F. Fie (Ivenus); and cherished grandmother and great grandmother to six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
