Madeleine L. Pierce

Madeleine L. Pierce (nee Connors), 100 of Springfield, died on May 19, 2026 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Stone Harbor, NJ. Born in Chester, the daughter of the late Leo A. and Margaret C. Mundy Connors, she lived in Folsom before moving to Springfield 69 years ago.

Madeleine was a graduate of Notre Dame High School for Girls, class of 1944 and was employed as an Administrative Assistant at BP Oil Credit Union before her retirement in 1995. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and was an active member of St. Keven R.C. Church where she was a daily communicant, sang in the choir and was a member of the Women's Auxiliary and Social Concerns Committee. Madeleine was also a volunteer at Little Sisters of the Poor for over 20 years. She loved music and dancing, but most important was her loving family, especially her cherished grandchildren and beloved great-grandson.

She was the wife of the late M. Howard "Harry" Pierce who died on September 18, 2003 after 54 years of marriage, mother of Nancy P. Webster (William), Mark H. Pierce and Eileen P. Kaiser (James), sister of Francis P. Connors and the late Leo F. Connors, Edward L. Connors and Margaret "Sis" Ryan, grandmother of Will "Billy" Webster, Danielle Corcoran (Christopher), Meghan Kaiser and Michael Kaiser, great-grandmother of Pierce Patrick Corcoran and she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass 11 AM Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at St. Kevin R.C Church, 200 W. Sproul Rd., Springfield, PA 19064 where relative and friends may call 9:30 to 10:45 AM. Burial will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
