Lynda L. Barksdale (nee Mills), 77 of Upland died on October 4, 2025.  Born in Darby, she was the daughter of the late Les and Janet Gibson Mills.

Lynda was a graduate of Lansdowne-Aldan High School, class of 1966 and was employed by the County of Delaware at the Media Court House for 30 years.  She enjoyed trips to the casinos, crocheting and baking cakes.  Lynda loved her cats Lucy, Bob and Mr. Ripley, but most important was her family, especially her cherished granddaughter Meana.

She was the wife of the late Walter R. Barksdale, Jr., mother of Dan Sparks (Joy) and Jason Sparks (Shannon), sister of Les Mills and the late Robin Stump, grandmother of Christian Sparks, Benjamin Martinenza-Sparks, Jaydan Sparks,  Mia Bella Sparks, Robert McCrary, Ryan McCrary, Patrick Conner, Bridget Conner and Kevin Griffith.  She is also survived by her brother-in-law Edward Stump and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, October 17, 2025 at The Bridge Church, 1345 Market Street, Linwood, PA 19061.  Burial private.
