1924-2019

Lucy Loretta Duda (Iacono), 94 of Woodlyn, a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Daughter and Sister, died January 1, 2019 at Conner-Williams Nursing Home in Ridley Park, PA.

Born in Swampscott, Massachusetts she grew up in Chester Pennsylvania prior to moving to Woodlyn in 1951. She was a graduate of Chester High School and former employee of Ford Motor Company and Pure Oil. She also worked for many years with her brothers James and John Iacono, at the former MacDade House in Holmes, PA. Mrs. Duda was a longtime member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church.

She was the daughter of the late Antonio "Pop" Iacono and Angelina Iacono originally from Isola d'Ischia Italy and sister of the late James and John Iacono and Philomena Gorga.

She is survived by her sons Raymond A. Duda (Roslyn) and Joseph J. Duda (Jean); grandchildren Nicholas and Elizabeth Duda; nieces Joyce Piraino and Barbara Thomas.

Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Monday, January 7, 2019 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park, PA 19033 where friends may call 9:15 to 10:15 AM. Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
