Lucille Adeline Bisciotti Caia, 79, of Fredericksburg, VA died October 13, 2018 at Mary Washington Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Lea Crisconi Bisciotti and resided in Ridley Park, PA and Glen Mills, PA before moving to her late residence.

Lucille was a graduate of Ridley Township High School, class of 1957, and began working for a Philadelphia brokerage firm. A life-long lover of literature, history and art; she and friends traveled to Europe in their late 20s, touring Italy and France. She married Anthony "Tony" Caia, a widower, in 1974 and gave birth to a son, Matthew, in 1975.

She transitioned employment to Boeing Helicopters, where she worked until her retirement in 1995. Lucille worked in Human Resources, Recruiting, Public Relations and as an Executive Assistant on various Defense Helicopter programs. A highlight of her career was as a team member of the then highly publicized V-22 Osprey program in support of the US Marine Corps. At Boeing, Lucille developed an admiration for the military and their service to our country.

She spent her retirement years working in the cosmetics industry, spending time with friends, reading military and espionage novels and caring for her husband.

Lucille was predeceased by her husband, Anthony M. "Tony" Caia, who died June 21, 2012.

She was a devoted mother to her son, Matthew Caia; and is also survived by her step-son, Paddy Caia and several cousins.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM Friday, October 19, 2018 at the Church of St. Madeline, 400 Morton Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078.

Visitation: 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday and 8:30-9:15 AM Friday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park.

Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery
