Obituary
Louise P. Toombs Vona, 69, of Ridley Park, died August 3, 2018 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, she lived in South Philadelphia before moving to her late residence in 1979. Louise loved her home and gardening but most important was her family.
She was predeceased by her mother Mary Savarese Toombs, her special parents Rocco and Florence Granato and her brother Randolph Toombs.
Louise was loving wife to Carmen A. Vona, devoted mother to Rocco J. Granato (Jackie), cherish grandmother to Erica Zappo (Nick), Christopher and Samantha Strohm, great-grandmother to Danica, Nicholas and Liam.
Funeral Mass 11 AM Thursday at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, where friends may call 9:15 to 10:45 AM. Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
Memorial gifts to The American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St. Philadelphia, PA 19103.
