Loretta M. McCrohan O'Rourke, 83, of Swarthmore, died January 6, 2013 at Harlee Manor. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. O'Rourke lived in Briarcliff prior to moving to her late residence in 1972.

She was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls, Class of 1947, and was a member of Notre Dame de Lourdes R.C. Church. Loretta was the Manager of Alston Card Shop in the MacDade Mall and had previously been employed at A.I. DuPont. She was a member of Notre Dame Seniors, but most important was her devotion to her family.

She was daughter of the late John and Margaret Bannon McCrohan and sister of the late John and Jerry McCrohan.

Survivors: her husband of 56 years, Joseph J. O'Rourke, mother of Joseph J. O'Rourke, Jr. (Dianna), Donna Marie Stewart (Tim) and Patrick M. O'Rourke, Sr. (Elise), sister of Margaret "Marge" Keels, also nine grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Funeral Mass: 10:30 AM Friday at Notre Dame de Lourdes R.C. Church, Fairview Rd. and Michigan Ave., Swarthmore.

Visitation: 6:30 to 8:30 PM Thursday and 9 to 9:45 AM Friday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park

Burial: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery
