Lois C. Powers, 76 of Woodlyn died on June 28, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Henry and Regina Wiegner, she had been a resident of Woodlyn since 1976.

Lois was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls, class of 1967 and had been employed at the Wawa location in Woodlyn for 28 years, retiring in 2016. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church where she was an Extraordinary Minister and volunteered with CCD Program as well as decorating the church. More than anything, she enjoyed being with her loving family - Rich, her boys, her daughters-in-law, and especially her cherished grandchildren.

Lois was the loving wife of Richard F. Powers, mother of Richard F. Powers, Jr. (Brynne), Chris J. Powers (Arianna), Kevin M. Powers (Kristin) and Sean P. Powers (Megan), grandmother of Rachel Powers, Noah Powers, Avery Henderson, Blake Henderson, Layla and Noelle Powers, Charlotte, Jacob and one on the way Powers and Lola, Hazel and Ronan Powers, and she was the sister of Arlene Rankin (Chalie), Ken Wiegner (Lorraine), Patty Loomis and the late Henry Wiegner, Donald Wiegner and Judy Castiglione. She was also a beloved sister-in-law and aunt.

Visitation 6-8 PM Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park and 9:45 to 10:45 AM Thursday, July 2 2026 at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike Eddystone where a Funeral Mass will begin at 11 AM. Burial will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
