Obituary

COLLELUORI, Lois Ann (nee Latissa), 89, died on January 9, 2026.  Born in Philadelphia, raised her family in Delaware County and resided in Cape May County since 1993.  Wife to the late Fred L. Colleluori, Sr, beloved mother to Fred L., Jr (deceased) (Rosemary), Pasquale (Cheryl), Michael (Julie), Joseph (deceased) (Susan), Donna, Deborah (deceased), Vanessa (Chip), Helen Dingler (Harry).  Grandmother to 22 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.  Nurturing by nature, she gave endlessly of herself – her time, her patience, and her love – creating a home where faith, kindness, and togetherness were always present.

Lois's life was deeply rooted in her church community. As a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima, she in 1992 became a member of the third order of lay Franciscans and took the name of Sister Mary Abraham.  After moving to New Jersey, she then served faithfully in many roles at Assumption Church in Wildwood Crest, including cantor, choir member, CCD teacher and President of the Mature Adults Organization sharing both her voice and her wisdom with generations.  For many years, she worked at the rectory preparing meals for the parish priests, offering hospitality as an expression of her faith and care for others.  Her involvement in church activities reflected a life guided by service, humility and devotion.

A hardworking and capable woman, she managed the Swiss Pastry Shop with dedication and pride, known for both her leadership and warm presence.  Lois also worked for Bell Telephone, where she was respected for her reliability, strong work ethic and professionalism. She was a volunteer at St. Francis Country House and also at Mercy Medical Hospital (Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital) both in Darby, PA.

Above all, she will be remembered for her generous spirit, unwavering faith and love of family.  Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched, the family she raised, and the community she faithfully served.

Her greatest joy in life was raising her seven children.
