Linda A. Day

Linda A. Day (nee Diamond), 64 of Claymont, DE died on February 17, 2026. Born in Chester, the daughter of the late Richard and Barbara Buckalew Diamond, she lived in Ridley Park before moving to Claymont 37 years ago.

Linda was a graduate of Chichester High School, class of 1979 and she also received an associate's degree fin Early Childhood Education from Delaware County Community College. She had previously worked at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Linda was member of Stoneybank Community Church and attended the women's bible study at Restoration Presbyterian Church in Boothwyn. Linda had a love for animals and nature, and she also enjoyed singing, camping and traveling throughout Pennsylvania.

She was the loving wife of 42 years to Robert E. Day, sister of Joan Landino (James Fida), Lori Suttonfield (Mike) and Nancy McNeill, she is also survived by nieces, nephews and her beloved fur baby Moses.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 10:30 AM on Friday March 6, 2026 at Restoration Presbyterian Church, 2655 Chichester Avenue, Boothwyn where relatives and friends may call after 9 AM. Burial Lawn Croft Cemetery.
