Linda A. Day

Linda A. Day (nee Diamond), 64 of Claymont, DE died on February 17, 2026. Born in Chester, the daughter of the late Richard and Barbara Buckalew Diamond, she lived in Ridley Park before moving to Claymont 37 years ago.

Linda was a graduate of Chichester High School, class of 1979 and she also received an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Delaware County Community College. She had previously worked at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Linda was member of Stoneybank Community Church and attended the women's bible study at Restoration Presbyterian Church in Boothwyn. Linda had a love for animals and nature, and she also enjoyed singing, camping and traveling throughout Pennsylvania. Linda loved going out to eat, loved going to buffets like Shady Maple.

She was the loving wife of 42 years to Robert E. Day, sister of Joan Landino (James Fida), Lorie Suttenfield (Mike) and Nancy McNeill, she is also survived by nieces, nephews and her beloved fur baby Moses.

Visitation and celebration of life services are on Friday March 6, 2026 at Restoration Presbyterian Church 2655 Chichester Avenue Boothwyn, PA. 19061.

Burial is at Lawn Croft Cemetery, 1000 Ridge Road Linwood, PA 19061.
