Lewis owned and operated Moser Knauer Associates Construction before retiring in 2006.  He enjoyed spending time at his home in Florida, hunting, snowmobiling, playing sports and boating, but most important was his family.

He was the loving husband of Mary R. Wohlwend Knauer, father of Cynthia K. Root, Kathleen Creech and the late Gary J. and Larry E. Knauer, step-father of Lawrence W. Moon (Teresa) and Michele L. Stamm-Bradley (Richard), he was brother of the late Margaret Asenanage, he is also survived by 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a special nephew Arun Loptes and a bonus son Richard Todd.

Funeral Liturgy 11 AM Monday, December 19, 2022 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston where relatives and friends may call after 9:30 AM.  Burial Lawn Croft Cemetery.
