Obituary

Leonard (Len) F. Warren, Jr., 84, of Wallingford, PA passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Monday, May 5, 2025. Born February 3, 1941, in Ridley Park, PA, to the late Leonard F. and Rebecca Warren.

He attended Ridley Township High School, class of 1959, where he played football, basketball, and ran track. He frequented monthly 59ers class dinners, where he would enjoy the company of his former classmates, even as of late.

After high school, Len served in the U.S. Army, where he received training to become an electrician. He would spend his summers down in Avalon, N.J. as a lifeguard, where he met Beth Warren (nee Clark), his future wife of 58 years.

Len and Beth settled in Wallingford where they raised their four children.  He built a successful business for himself as an Electrical Inspector, where he earned the respect of many colleagues.  When Len wasn't working, he enjoyed playing on the Philadelphia Flyers Charity Softball Team with the "Broad Street Bullies", and coaching his sons' NPAA and Strath Haven High School soccer teams, eventually leading them to win the State Championships in 1991.

Later in life, Len generously shared long weekends and summers at his home in Avalon, NJ, with his family and friends, where they created lasting memories. His pastimes included gardening, fishing, belting out a good tune, and tending to animals, especially his cat, Dolly.

Predeceased by his beloved parents, wife, brother, Donald Warren, sister, Nancy Austin, and sister, Wilda Richardson. Len is survived by his four loving children and nine grandchildren, Wendy (David), Meagan, Lauren, and Ally Laird of Wallingford, PA; Leonard D. (Lee), Leonard J., and Alexandra Warren of Thornton, PA; Steven T. (Alaina), and Steven E. Warren of Ridley Park, PA; and David W. (Peggy), David G., Andrew, and Mia Beth Warren of Wallingford, PA.

Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, May 22nd from 9:30am-11:00am followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00am at White-Luttrell Funeral Home in Ridley Park, PA. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Len's memory to:
