Leon A. Hendrick, 87, of Ridley Park died January 7, 2018 at Taylor Hospice Residence. Born in Philadelphia, he resided in Collingdale before moving to his late residence 63 years ago.

Leon served in the US Air Force during the Korean War and was employed by Local #19 Sheet Metal Workers of America. He volunteered at the Pennsylvania Veterans Museum.

Leon was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Dolores N. Schroat Hendrick, who died April 7, 1993.

He is survived by his children, Sandra L. Hendrick (John Savacool), Bruce S. Hendrick, Lance Hendrick (Janice) and Brian P. Hendrick; his siblings, Evelyn Clements, Thomas Hendrick, Jr., Paul Hendrick, Carol Yannone and Barbara Hendrick; also, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Thursday, January 11 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, where relatives and friends may call from 9:00-10:15 AM
