Obituary
Lee R. Bowers, 88 of Ridley Park died March 13, 2014 at Crozer-Keystone Hospice at Taylor Hospital. Born in Landisburg, son of the late David and Margaret Rice Bowers, he lived in Prospect Park prior to moving to his late residence in 1954.
Mr. Bowers was a US Navy Veteran who served during World War II, he received the Pacific Theater Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon and the Victory Medal. He retired from Westinghouse Corporation after 41 years. Lee was an avid New York Yankees fan and loved gardening, traveling and playing pinochle. He also enjoyed music and played the trumpet.
He was husband of the late Ruth Reinhardt Bowers who died July 18, 1991 and brother of the late Del Bowers, Jean Simon and Rose Sheehan.

Graveside Service: 11 AM Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Mount Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, 800 Fallinger Spring Rd., Landisburg, PA
