Lawrence R. "Larry" Kime 75 of Ridley Park died August 11, 2015 at his home.
Born in Bryn Mawr , he has lived at his late residence for the past 33 years. Larry was last employed by Plumbmaster for 21 years, retiring in 2003.
He was a decorated veteran of the U.S. Air Force Ground Support, serving for 21 years, before his retirement in 1981.
He was a graduate of St. James High School, class of 1959. He was a member of The Church of St. Madeline, the Retired Enlisted Association and the St. James Alumni.
Larry loved traveling, fishing, word search puzzles and Philadelphia sports, but most important to him was his loving wife and family.
He was son of the late Charles A. and Delia Conroy Kime and brother of the late Carol Hope.
Larry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rita Niederriter Kime; his children, Larry R. Kime (Ilka), Jim Kime (Donna), Kathi Nemeth (Larry), Kevin Kime (Zoe) and Mike Kime (Cristina); grandchildren Jessica, Lance, Rodney, Kyla, Larysa, Katie, Connor, McKenzie and Chase; also his brother Charles Kime, Jr. (Tina), brother-in-law Dr. William "Don" Hope, Jr. and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass 11:00AM Friday, August 14, 2015 at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park where friends may visit from 9:00 to 10:30AM. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
