Landis Raymond Lucas, born on January 11, 1948 and passed on December 4, 2021.
He was born and raised in Delaware County; he was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1966.
"Ray" as he was known to most, was a U.S. Army veteran as a member of the 21st Airborne and was awarded a Parachute Badge, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, Combat Infantry Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal H/Go Device and a Bronze Star Medal.
He was predeceased by his father, Landis Lucas and his mother, Adamine Lucas (Colone/Deasy); his brother, Nelson Lee Lucas.
Survivors are Monica (Lucas) Christiana (Vince); grandsons, Vincent, Nicholas and Carmen; nephew Nelson Lee Lucas-Murphy (Kim) and great nephews, Nelson (Nicole), Chazz, Cannon and Jett.
Burial with Military Honors 10:30 AM Friday, April 22, 2022 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
