Kim B. Kester

Kim B. Kester, 72, of Ridley Park died on May, 19, 2026. Born in Ridley Park, he was the son of the late Berle W. and Harriett B. Hunter Kester.

Kim was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1971 and was a longtime member of Ridley Park Presbyterian Church. Kim proudly served in the United States Army for over 18 years before being medically discharged in 1990. He achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant while serving during the Vietnam and Gulf War.

Kim was the loving husband of 53 years to Susan J. Brock Kester, father of Paul B. Kester, Jeremy C. Kester (Carla) and Matthew, J. Kester (Brandy), grandfather of Judah, Patrick, Caleb, Petyon, Hayden, Logan, Calliope and Harper and he was the brother of Berle W. Kester, Jr., Eric W. Kester, Shirley A. Kuhn and the late Ronald J. Kester and Elizabeth S. Behan.

Visitation 11AM to 12 noon on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Ridley Park Presbyterian Church, 300 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where a Memorial Service will begin at 12 noon.
