Obituary
Kenneth R. Manke 76, of Brookhaven, Pa. died on December 4, 2022.
He was born in Pittsburgh. Pa. to the late Raymond and Dorothy Nair Manke and has lived in Brookhaven for the past 49 years.
Ken worked in the Engineering Department at Verizon for 31 years, retiring in 2002.
He attended the Green Ridge Baptist Church, Aston, Pa. Ken was a member of the Drum and Bugle Corp., Vern Acklin Cavaliers and was a decorated US Navy veteran serving as a Corpsman in the Vietnam War.
Ken is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda I. Claypoole Manke; also his children,
Shin Ae D. Gonzalez and Kenneth R. Manke, Jr.; grandchildren Abel and Angel and Ken's siblings, Bruce Manke, Christine and Ruthanne Kilgore, Dwaine and many dear nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service and burial will be private.
