Kenneth P. Kowalewski, 60, lifelong resident of Ridley Park died October 18, 2016 at Taylor Hospital. Born in Ridley Park, he was the son of Joseph S. Kowalewski and the late Mary E. Wagner Kowalewski.


Ken was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1974 and a member of the Church of St. Madeline. He served in the US Navy during the Gulf War and Desert Storm and retired after 20 years of service. Ken was an avid reader, loved being outdoors and camping, but most important was being with family and friends. He had a dry sense of humor that always kept his family, especially his nieces and nephews, laughing and managed to keep the mood light.


Ken is survived by his siblings, David R. Kowalewski, Dennis J. Kowalewski (Harsha), Kathleen J. Way, Karen M. Adams (Peter) and Jean A. DelViscio (Daniel); also, three nieces and five nephews.
