Kelly Navikas unexpectedly passed away September 9th, 2024 while spending time with her family during her sisters final battle with cancer. Kelly was a vibrant, caring soul, touching the lives of everyone she came in contact with. The first in her family to go to college, she went on from high school valedictorian to be an entrepreneur, businesswoman, and startup executive. Despite her young age, her tireless efforts impacted dozens of companies in roles from operations consultant to COO of a publicly traded company.
Her creative spirit led to the mastery of nine separate instruments; a strong commitment to the storytelling community of Atlanta, and a passion for fantasy and frivolity. Her wit was unmatched and she always lit up a room, whether it was her smile, stories, or delicious homemade food. Her heart was always with her family and friends, and she lived with open arms, and an extra place at the table.
She will be deeply missed by family and friends both, She was the partner of Mark Scheid, daughter of Anthony "Tony" Navickas, Jr. and the late Linda Kahlbom Navickas, sister of Tracy Ann Navickas (Robert Barrett), Steffanie Barr and the late Theresa "Terri" Navickas, she is also survived by nieces and nephews, and was predecased by her niece Madalynn A. Tinsley.
Services and burial were held privately.
Kelly made an impression on all of us with her tireless ambition and compassion. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Philadelphia Foundation at
