Kathleen Diane Payne, 79, of Swarthmore passed on March 9, 2024. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late James and Rosalia O'Neill.  Kathy was a graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School. In 1998 she moved to Swarthmore where she resided for the past 26 years.  She was a member of Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church.  Kathy was also an active member of, as well as president of for seven years, Our Lady of Peace and Notre Dame de Lourdes Parishes' Senior Club.  She enjoyed a long and successful career working as a legal secretary with several law firms in Center City Philadelphia.

Kathy loved fashion and was always "dressed to the nines".  She loved children, animals, travel and entertaining.  She was an excellent cook and decorator.

Kathy is survived by her cousins Helen Schaefers, The Kunst family, The Sukits family, The Fuchs family; Second cousins Cynthia & Donald Keller and family, Teresa & Jeffrey McSteen and family, Joseph A. Borza (deceased) and wife Kimberly and family; her niece Mary Ellen McGowan (Donald) and many dear girlfriends.

Visitation 9:30 to 10:15 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Notre Dame de Lourdes church located at 990 Fairview Road, Swarthmore, PA  19081.  Burial Private.
