Kathleen C. Laverty Martin 88 of Woodlyn, died on June 20, 2013 at her home.

Born in Philadelphia, she has lived in Woodlyn most of her life at her late residence for 53 years.

Mrs.Martin was a secretary for the Delaware County Housing Authority, retiring in 1999 and previously worked at Baldwin, Lima, Hamilton Co. and Scott Paper Co.

She was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church and a former member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church.

Mrs. Martin was wife of the late Henry J. Martin who died in 1971, daughter of the late Henry and Isabella Higgins Laverty and sister of the late Joseph and Harry Laverty and Mary Martin, Isabelle Mitch and Betty Ferrell.

Survivors; Her son Bob Martin (Clare); granddaughters Katelyn and Lindsay; also many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass 10:00AM Monday, June 24, 2013 at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022.

Visitation 8:15 to 9:15AM at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA. Burial Eastlawn Cemetery.
