Karen Ward, 62 of Ridley Park, died December 7, 2017 at her home. Born and raised in Chester, daughter of the late Peter and Carmella Fasano Ward, she had lived in Ridley Township before moving to her late residence one year ago.

Karen loved animals, particularly cats and enjoyed feeding birds. Karen was very firm in her Christian beliefs. At times her sense of humor or comments would brighten our day, she will be sadly missed by all, but there is comfort in knowing she has joined her Mom and Dad in Heaven.

She was loving sister of Susan Kennedy (Dan), Peter Ward, Jr., Maryann Boyle (Joe) and Anne Thuer (Wayne) as well as several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Karen's life will be held at 11 AM Saturday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call after 10 AM.

Burial private.
